Meeting places
Our congregation, part of the Uniting Church (Equmenia church) in Sweden, has existed for almost 150 years in central Vänersborg, with around 240 members and many children and young people. Our vision is to be a church for the whole life, transforming individuals and the world through encounters with Jesus Christ, and we strive to be open, clear, growing, and serving. Our service is the central meeting place, but there are numerous other meeting places depending on interest, all focused on community and growth in faith. You can both receive and share in the congregation, taking on responsibility with others. If you have questions or are interested in participating in our meeting places, such as our working community at Karlsro or our language café, please contact Karin Sigfeldt or Fredrik Carlson, the congregation's contact person.

Children and young people
Equmenia Vänersborg is the church's association for children and young people. Our community is cross-generational and we prioritize building long-lasting relationships. Here you can be part of a context, where both children, young people, adults and the elderly have a place. If you are interested in participating or have any questions about our meeting places, please contact Oscar Fleischer or pastor Karin Sigfeldt.
We charge an annual fee to cover costs, but if you can't afford it, there are other ways to become a member.

Singing and music
Our church has a strong tradition of incorporating music and singing into our services, and we also host special concerts and events focused on music. We have several groups for those interested in joining us in singing or playing musical instruments. If you are a young person or a child, we would be delighted to have you participate. There are many opportunities to get involved and share your talents with our congregation.
